I'm in a rut. Whenever I open up photoshop, I can get some lineart completed.. but then I come to a hault. I just can't find my own coloring style. I haven't done anything on the computer in so long. I have a desire to make it look somewhat realistic, but I just stare at my open window and usually save, close, and never come back. I miss opencanvas, but you can't use it on a mac and I hate getting into windows. Oh, also, I really dig the style where it looks as if a sketch has been scanned in and colored.
Does anyone know of any good tutorials? Any inspiration you can send my way?
I just really want to break out of this rut!

texture tutorial
and yeh, baiscally for scanning in draw line work, the 'multiply' option is your best friend. Just experiment with colouring, just do whatever you feel like doing and you'll get back into it.
